Small by choice. Serious about what we do.
ellie-design started in 2019 in Panagyurishte, a city known more for its history than its tech scene. That is partly the point. We are not trying to be the biggest studio in Sofia. We are trying to be the most useful one for the clients we work with.
Most of our clients come from referrals. We have worked with businesses in Bulgaria, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. The industry does not matter as much as whether the project is interesting and whether the client wants something real.
We keep the studio small on purpose. Three people, a limited number of active projects at any time, and no subcontracting. When you hire us, the people you talk to are the people building your site.
If the project is interesting and the client knows what they want, we find a way to work together. If we are not the right fit, we say so directly and, where we can, recommend someone who is.
Principles, not promises.
Direct
We say what we think. When a brief is unclear we ask. When an idea is wrong we say so. When the scope needs to change we tell you before we do any of the work.
Focused
We do not run 20 active projects at once. A limited number of active projects at a time means each one gets the attention it deserves.
Accountable
Timelines are real. Prices are fixed. Deliverables are specified. We have never missed a launch date by more than a week, and only when the client was the reason.
